Stephan Wolf
Chair of the Board
Stephan Wolf was appointed in March 2024 by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) as Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) of the Digital Standards Initiative, the global platform for alignment, adoption, and engagement on digital trade standards. Since 2023, he serves in the board of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Germany.
Stephan was the CEO of the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF). He co-founded IS Innovative Software GmbH in 1989. This company eventually became part of the NYSE-listed Interactive Data Corporation, where he served as Global Chief Technology Officer.

Chad Pasha
Board Member
Chad Pasha is Head of North America, Coursera for Campus. He launched high-profile Coursera projects in over 78 countries globally, and worked jointly with donors including the White House, World Bank, ADB, USAID, and UNDP.
Prior to joining Coursera, Chad headed the UK’s Growth Capital team at the Department for International Trade. Chad was previously an advisor to Tony Blair, focused on public sector reform in Central Asia. He launched the world’s largest education transformation project in Pakistan, funded by the World Bank and led by McKinsey & Co, to enroll 6 million out of school youth.

Daniel Cotti
Board Member
Daniel Cotti is a founding partner at the T3i Partner Network. Dani is an industry expert for Digital Trade and has led company and industry change and innovation in various roles in the banking and fintech sectors.

Dani served Bolero and GLEIF a board member. He was managing director at Marco Polo Network.

Daniel Säuberli
Board Member
Daniel Säuberli brings nearly 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and policy, driving value across diverse domains. He has held executive roles in leading organizations such as IBM, DXC, and the Mahindra Group.

Daniel is founder and managing partner of Accelerate.swiss. He serves as the president and co-founder of the Digital Identity and Data Sovereignty Association (DIDAS). Daniel is a member of the board of directors at Ayra Association and is serving on multiple industry advisory boards.

Hans Huber
Board Member
Hans Huber brings 30 years of experience in logistics, trade finance and IT.
As a thought leader in trade digitalisation, Hans was instrumental in building the tech lab of one of Germany’s biggest private banks. He served as Board member of the Corda Network Foundation and has been a member of the ICC Banking Commission.

Thibault Serlett
Board Member
Thibault Serlet is a partner at Key State Capital, a Venture Capital consortium that invests in digital identity technology. He previously served as the President of the Adrianople Group, a business intelligence firm which helped investors finance the creation of new Special Economic Zones.
Thibault led the creation of several large-scale datasets including the Web of Trust, a global database of decentralized digital identity projects, Open Zone Map, the world’s first global map of free zones, and the Charter Cities Institute’s New Cities Map.

Timothy Ruff
Board Member
Timothy Ruff is the Chief Strategy Officer for Digital Trust Venture Partners and a pioneer in the decentralized identity industry.

Timothy was the co-founder of Evernym, Sovrin, Credential Master, Provenant, and health KERI, and now helps launch and grow new ventures within the digital trust ecosystem.

André Kudra
André Kudra is CIO of esatus AG since 2013. He is a Board member of TeleTrusT – IT Security Association Germany and Digital culture activist with Demoscene and retro computing affiliations.

​André is on a mission for decentralized identity & bit-heat confidential cloud. He has a passion for information security since turn of millennium. André is a business-driven yet tech-savvy IT guy at heart, and businessman by education.

Andrea Frosinini
Andrea Frosinini is Business Development Manager at XDC Foundation and member of the Board of Advisors at PLI Plugin. He is also Chair of BSCA Europe and a member of the Board of Advisors of TOTTA | Trans-Oceanic Trade Tech Alliance.

Leveraging his experience as Chair of the Hyperledger Supply Chain & Trade Finance Special Interest Group, he is bridging traditional trade finance with next-generation solutions, championing digital transformation and decentralized solutions to drive automation, transparency, and efficiency in cross-border transactions.

Chandra Challagonda
Chandra Challagonda is the CEO of FIWARE Foundation, championing open-source technologies to drive data interoperability, sovereign data exchange, and creating sustainable, smart solutions across industries. He is the Co-founder and CTO of 2050 Materials, a platform dedicated to sustainable construction through data-driven materials intelligence.

​Chandra has played a key role in many EU projects, shaping secure, interoperable, and standard-compliant data-sharing frameworks that empower open ecosystems and foster innovation. He is passionate about creating inclusive, fair, and sustainable digital ecosystems, he actively contributes to global discussions at the UN and other high-impact forums.

Eva Chan
Eva Chan, Founder and CEO of Certizen Limited, is a trailblazer in digital identity and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on enabling secure cross-border business ecosystems. Specializing in network security and trust solutions, she leverages decentralized identity frameworks to innovate in SSI and interoperable verification systems, streamlining data, capital, and logistics flows for global commerce.

Eva actively shapes global standards through her roles on the ToIP Foundation Steering Committee and SSI Steward Group, while advocating for digital identities and verifiable credentials. As Chairperson of Asia PKI Consortium (APKIC), she unites over ten Asian certificate authorities to implement unified cross-border digital identity solutions, ensuring compliance with legal-technical frameworks and fostering secure international trade.

Georg Greve
Georg Greve is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Vereign AG, and has been a leader in the sovereign technologies field since the mid 90s.

Georg has led a spin-out from the German office for IT Security, was the founding president of the award-winning Free Software Foundation Europe, and has consulted some of the world's largest corporations as well as governments around the world on matters of technology policy, Open Standards, and Open Source. For extraordinary contributions in this domain he was awarded with the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon by the President of Germany.

Gerard Hartsink
Gerard Hartsink is a senior expert who serves in several organizations and programs for the digitalization of the financial and physical international supply chains.

Gerard served as board member of relevant organizations such as SWIFT, CLS, GLEIF, ICC DSI, ISO 20022 RMG.

Gianluca Riccio
Gianluca Riccio, CFA, is Chair of the Finance Committee at the “Business at OECD” (BIAC); and Co-Chair of B20 Taskforce as part of the G20 process. In addition, Gianluca is also member of the Technical Committee for Financial Services to the ISO (International Organization for Standardisation).

Gianluca has over 25 years’ experience in the banking industry. His experience combines risk, strategy, business, transformation, regulatory and capital needs, and over time has ranged from managing risk in different regions and economic environments, to successfully leading a broad range of strategic transformation programmes

Ivan Mortimer-Schutts
Ivan Mortimer-Schutts is Global Head of vLEI for GLEIF. Formerly he was a Senior Officer at International Finance Corporation, based in Asia. He has also held positions in business development and regulation at BNP Paribas as well as other institutions in the financial securities industry.

He is focused on the role of evolutions in digital identity, data management and governance on the transformation of financial markets and digital economy.

Jacques von Benecke
Jacques von Benecke serves as the Group Chief Technology Officer for Druk Holdings & Investment and the Chief Technology Officer for the Bhutan National Digital Identity company. He is also the Chairman of the Thimphu Tech Park and provides technical guidance to various boards on innovative technologies, including Digital Identity, Biometrics, AI, Blockchain, and IoT.

With over 35 years of experience in IT and technology innovation, Jacques has focused on business transformation. He has worked for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Singapore, British Telecoms, BHP Billiton, Woodside Energy, the National Health Service UK, and Murdoch University Australia. He has been a certified TOGAF practitioner since the early 2000 and have recently been certified as a Lead assessor for IEEE in AI Ethics.

John Turner
John Turner, CEO of XBRL International, has led the organisation for a decade. XBRL International works to enhance transparency and accountability in business performance by developing and managing the XBRL standard. The organisation is a global not for profit that operates in the public interest. Since 2017, XBRL International has been focussed on a range of questions associated with the digitisation of sustainability disclosures.

Previously, John served as CEO of CoreFiling, led XBRL activities at KPMG International LLP, and spearheaded the world’s first regulatory project using XBRL for data collection, at APRA, the Australian financial regulator. He is a strong advocate for practical standards to enhance reporting and collaborates with consortium members and regulators worldwide.

Micheal Vrontamitis
Michael Vrontamitis is a founding partner of T3i Partner Network LLP and expert in the intersection between sustainability, technology and finance. T3i Partner Network is a global collective of industry-leading specialists in trade, treasury and technology with a focus on digital innovation.

Michael advises several start-ups, including Klear Inc, and is a board member of the World Trade Board. He spent 25 years with Standard Chartered at multiple locations, spanning both wholesale and retail clients, as well as investor relations in several leadership positions. In his last role, Michael was the lead industry principal for Finastra’s Lending Business Unit, which covered cash management, trade and working capital management, retail and corporate lending.

Mohan Ramaswamy
Mohan Ramaswamy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rubix Data Sciences, which is an AI / Technology enabled Information & Analytics business based in India.

Prior to founding Rubix along with his former colleagues from Dun&Bradstreet, Mohan served as the CEO of LexisNexis for India and South Asia for 5 years and was also part of the LexisNexis APAC Leadership team.

Oswald Kuyler
Oswald is the Senior Digital Trade advisor to the Asian Development Bank and a international recognized expert in trade digitization.

Oswald also works closely with the ICC Digital Standards Initiative to enable the digitization of global trade by 2030.

Pascal Gottret
Pascal Gottret is Head of Business Applications Management at the global polymer trader Meraxis AG in Switzerland with a strong focus on SAP applications. He is responsible for the design and system development of core business processes and manages all technical interfaces to external business partners and platforms. His main goal is the automation of the international
supply chain and trade finance.

In recent years, Pascal has been actively involved in blockchain-based SSI communities. He is now member of DIDAS and leads the working group Supply Chain.

Randy Warshaw
Randy Warshaw is the founder of Provenant and a pioneer in global telecommunications trust. With over 25 years in the industry, he invented the Kontxt AI platform for messaging fraud detection and lead the Metcalf intercarrier gateway that processed over 10 trillion SMS messages worldwide.

At Provenant, he leads the vision for transforming voice and messaging telecommunications globally through verifiable, open-standard solutions.

Dr. Ralf Herrmann
Dr. Ralf Herrmann is a senior director at Gartner Consulting and a consultant with more than 30 years of experience as a senior board-level advisor to financial institutions and public sector organizations. Before joining Gartner, Dr. Herrmann worked for IBM in various management functions and successfully led international multicultural teams, complex projects, business partnerships and C-level customer relationships.

Ralf is a thought leader for digital transformation and innovative technologies. In addition to his extensive expertise in banking and finance, he has demonstrated passion and commitment to transform difficult situations into success and business.

Robert Beideman
Robert Beideman is the Chief Product Officer of GS1, the global identification and data sharing standards organisation.

​Robert leads the teams that bring standards, global services and innovations to life at GS1. He and his teams engage businesses, organisations and industries as trusted advisors to digitalise their supply chains, adapt their logistics models, build trust and thrive in a time of unprecedented digital transformation.

Scott Perry
Scott Perry is a global market leader in creating governance and conformance programs over digital technology. He is the Founder and CEO of the Digital Governance Institute where he provides digital governance / conformance schemes and cyber assurance advisory services. Scott is a Co-Chair of the Trust Over IP Foundation's Steering Committee and its Ecosystem & Governance Working Group.

As an IT Audit Leader, Scott specialized in auditing certification authorities. He has worked with aerospace and defense companies, and government agencies such as the US Senate Sergeant at Arms and Federal Aviation Administration.

Shawn Butterfield
Shawn Butterfield is a Principal Software Architect at Salesforce.com and a key open-source software ecosystem contributor. Shawn's specializations are platform enterprise software, distributed systems, cryptography, and high-scale data processing architectures.

​Shawn is a contributing editor at W3C for “Verifiable Credentials Data Models & VC-JWT” and a freelance technical editor at IETF.

Stephane Canon
Stephane Canon is a financial and business architecture leader with over 20 years of experience designing architectures and leading transformation projects.

Stephane has collaborated with SWIFT, BIS, and GLEIF to advance distributed trust architectures and self-sovereign identity solutions for regulatory compliance.

Vasily Suvorov
Vasily Suvorov is the Chief Technology Officer and a Managing partner at Accelerate, a Swiss consulting boutique company, where he is working with startup and corporate customers on applying Digital Trust technologies in Finance, Automotive, Energy, Healthcare and Logistics.

He has initiated creation of Digital Identity and Data Sovereignty Association (DIDAS) in 2020, which is fostering dialog, awareness and adoption of Self-Sovereign Identity Principles in Switzerland and beyond. He served as its first President and is currently on the Board of Directors.
